When your pet isn’t feeling well, getting answers quickly matters. At Concord Chapel Animal Hospital, we offer advanced in-house diagnostic services to efficiently and accurately identify health concerns—so we can begin the right treatment as soon as possible.

Because pets can’t tell us what they’re experiencing, diagnostic testing plays an important role in understanding their health. Our fully equipped in-house laboratory allows us to perform many tests right here in the hospital, often with results available the same day or within minutes.

For more specialized testing, we also partner with trusted outside laboratories to ensure comprehensive results whenever additional information is needed.

Laboratory Testing

Our in-house diagnostics include a variety of laboratory services designed to evaluate your pet’s overall health, including:

These tests help us detect infections, assess organ function, monitor ongoing conditions, and uncover underlying health concerns before they become more serious. Fast turnaround times often allow us to discuss results and treatment recommendations during the same visit.

Advanced Imaging

In addition to laboratory diagnostics, we offer advanced imaging technology that allows us to evaluate your pet’s health from a different perspective.

Digital radiographs (X-rays) provide detailed images of bones, joints, the chest, and internal organs, helping us diagnose fractures, arthritis, foreign objects, heart conditions, and other medical concerns.

We also perform on-site abdominal ultrasound examinations , allowing our veterinarians to visualize internal organs and soft tissues in real time using high-frequency sound waves. Ultrasound can help us evaluate abdominal structures, assess intestinal movement, and identify abnormalities such as tumors, masses, fluid accumulation, or changes within organs that may not be visible on X-rays alone.
